For our January paint-in we focused on painting
representations of glass with watercolor.
We brought in books and articles on the topic
as well as notes from Annella Campbell's workshop
last September. People discovered the process
was somewhat slow and tedious but the time spent
paid off with some nice results. Hopefully these
exercises helped people get a better idea of how
to approach transparent surfaces, reflection and
light bending that often occurs with glass.
